While attending the Charleston Riverdogs game against the Columbus Catfish, the following conversation occured:
Liz: There is no hope. They are down by 7 points.
Carrie: It's runs, not points.
Grace: Let's compromise. They are down by 7 baskets.

A Random Rant
So, it's been a while. But I'm back. And I have a random rant. My home church is large. Not like basketball arena large, but larger than any of the churches where I now live. And one thing I love about my home church is that they openly advertise their wonderful childcare that is available during the services. But guess what? Smaller churches have childcare too. You know how I know? Because I now go to a smaller church (not tiny, but medium sized) and I pass the nursery every Sunday on my way to worship and again after worship on my way to Sunday School. So, why do some parents feel the need to bring their child into the service? If the child is not going to sleep (normally over 3 months old) then either put the child in the nursery or sit near the back of the church so you can leave the sanctuary when your child starts making noises. Especially if you are distracting a row of people with your child. Or maybe it's jut me. But still. Support your local nursery worker: enroll your child! The time spend with other adults and children is good for them.
Ok, I feel better getting that off my chest. And yes, I love children. Just not in church services.
